This Privacy Policy describes how Better with Claude ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you visit our website (the "Site") or purchase our digital product (the "Service"). By using the Site or making a purchase, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide. When you purchase Better with Claude, our payment processor (Razorpay) collects:

• Your full name
• Email address
• Phone number (mobile)
• Billing address (if required by your card issuer)
• Payment instrument details (card number, UPI ID, netbanking credentials, or wallet) — processed by Razorpay; we never see or store these

Razorpay forwards a subset of this information to us so we can fulfill your order: your name, email, phone, the order amount, the Razorpay order ID, and the payment ID.

1.2 Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site we may collect:

• Your IP address and approximate geographic location
• Browser type, operating system, device type, screen size
• Pages visited, time spent, referring URL
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)

1.3 Information from third parties. If you contact us via email or social media, we receive whatever information you choose to send.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:

• To process your payment and deliver the digital bundle you purchased
• To send you the bundle download link, the bonus usage guide, and any future updates to the bundle
• To respond to your customer support requests (refunds, questions, technical issues)
• To send transactional emails (order confirmations, refund receipts, security alerts)
• To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or abuse of the Site
• To comply with applicable Indian law (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023)

We do not use your information to send marketing emails unless you have explicitly opted in. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

3. How we share your information

We share your information only with the following categories of recipients, and only to the extent necessary:

Payment processor: Razorpay Software Private Limited (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified) processes your payment. See Razorpay's privacy policy.
Email delivery: Resend (Resend Inc., USA) sends transactional emails on our behalf. See Resend's privacy policy.
Hosting: Vercel Inc. (USA) hosts the Site infrastructure. See Vercel's privacy policy.
Law enforcement: If required by a valid Indian legal order (court order, summons, or written demand from a government authority), we will disclose the minimum information legally required.

4. How long we keep your information

We retain your order records (name, email, phone, order ID, payment ID, amount) for a period of seven (7) yearsfrom the date of purchase, as required by the Indian Income Tax Act and GST regulations. After this period, we securely delete or anonymize the records.

Server logs containing IP addresses and request metadata are retained for ninety (90) days for security and debugging, then automatically deleted.

5. Where your information is stored

Your information is stored on servers operated by Vercel and Resend, which are located in the United States and other jurisdictions outside India. By providing your information, you consent to this cross-border transfer. We ensure that all such transfers comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and that recipients provide adequate data protection safeguards.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use the minimum cookies necessary for the Site to function (e.g., a session cookie when you open the checkout modal). We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or fingerprinting technologies.

If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated, and (where required) we will request your consent before enabling them.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable laws, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Right of access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Right of correction: ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data
Right of erasure: ask us to delete your data (subject to our retention obligations above)
Right to withdraw consent: withdraw any consent you previously gave for non-essential processing
Right to lodge a grievance: contact the Data Protection Board of India if you believe we have violated your rights

8. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information: HTTPS/TLS encryption for all traffic, no storage of payment instrument data, signed payment verification, principle-of-least-privilege access for operational accounts, and secure password practices.

Despite these measures, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and the appropriate authorities of any data breach without undue delay, as required by law.

9. Children's privacy

Better with Claude is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., Anthropic, Razorpay, Resend). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be notified by email to active customers and posted prominently on the Site.

12. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, you may direct any complaint about how we handle your personal information to our Grievance Officer:
